Freedom

Freedom is one of our rights as a human being. free from all what we wanted and expressed what we felt. We might be punish and even go to jail if we ever disobey or violate the law. Many years ago, this was once a problem. Filipinos were under the hands of the foreign invaders just like a bird on a cage, limited on what they wanted to do.

Many countries are aiming for the beauty if the Philippines. they killed and attacked because they wanted to rule and own our island. Filipinos became slaves not knowing that they own the island but the one suffering. Filipinos then realized to fight their rights. They joined forces like the KKK and HUKBALAHAP.

In the year 1898 12th of June, General Emilio Aguinaldo declared the Independence day where Filipinos were free from the Spaniards with the help of the Americans. It was also the first time we waved our own flag and sang the national anthem which was "Marangal na Dalit ng Katagalugan" before. Independence day is about honoring the ones who fought and showed their love for our country. They are real heroes because they faced the consequences even if they know that in just one snap they might be the one shoot by guns.

No matter how high they are, smart they are, don't let them drag you down. Fight for your own rights because that is what we all deserve - to be respected. Do we really act deserving on the freedom we have?

One thing to remember

"I hope you learn to make it on your own And if you love yourself just know you'll never be alone ... And when you get it all just remember one thing Remember one thing: That one man could change the world." We often focus on bad sides of the stories. We often throw the blames to the politicians. We often forget that we can make a change. One thing to achieve your goal, is to work for it. Change. Just never stop trying and begin it in yourself. There are alot of simple things that could create a new enviroment or a better life. You wanted for it, you need to do something and spend days, weeks, or even years but never quit. Believe in God and He will be at your side. Sometimes, people do what they see. They used to see inhumane actions from others so they taught it would not just blamed to him/her because he/she did not started it. One mistake can never be fixed with another mistake. You need to show them the way, the consequences they may face and let them analy...

117th Fun Day

"We didn't realize we were making memories. We just thought we were having fun" Before school year ends, we celebrate the Highschool day. For this year, 117th Highschool Day was celebrated last March 1 and 2, 2019. On the first day afternoon, the Princes and the Princesses were recognized in the gym. His Royal Highness Angeleo Paet and Her Majesty Queen Jannelle Maria Unciano are the Mr. and Ms. ISNHS Coronation Ceremony. On the second day, the program started with a parade of all students together with their loving advisers. On the afternoon, students showed their performance on the field. Not just that, teachers also showed off their moves. It was worth all the practices we've made. And the crown goes to the Grade 8 students! Highschool day celebrated every school year yet we still feel the excitement and fun before and during the event. Next school year, I hope to add more contests and booths to show the skills of the students. The more the merrier!
