Highlights of SONA 2018

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivered his 3rd State of the Nation Address in around three thousand law makers and guests at the Batasang Pambansa, Monday, July 23, 2018. His SONA was originally declared a 35 minute speech but because of his so called not prepared or off the cuff remarks added to his speech, it had lasted a bit longer. It started out 5:22 PM and concluded 6:09 PM. Breaking the traditional way of highlighting the previous year accomplishments, the iron-fist leader, Mr. President, focused on his genuine desire for change. Nowadays, people are fond of buying on fast food chains, on-trends and on what they saw on social medias just to fit or to be in to this society we have. Do these things make us cool? They say that our population are getting higher but the crops that are harvested are still the same. People always think that farming are only for poor. We get our food from them. Working under the sun to supply foods for us but what are we doing? They were happy if we consumers eating the right food instead of junk foods and processed foods. July 10,2018 The Honorable Rodrigo Duterte President-Republic of the Philippines MalacaƱang Palace, MANILA Dear Mr. President: Good day! After winning in the last election, you've done many projects for this country. I write to express my concern about K-12 curriculum. 2 years were added for the Senior high school level yet many graduated who don't get job easily. Not all people afford the fees in school that made them stop studying. We spent doing group projects more often than our time with our families. Freedom

Freedom is one of our rights as a human being. free from all what we wanted and expressed what we felt. We might be punish and even go to jail if we ever disobey or violate the law. Many years ago, this was once a problem. Filipinos were under the hands of the foreign invaders just like a bird on a cage, limited on what they wanted to do. Many countries are aiming for the beauty if the Philippines. they killed and attacked because they wanted to rule and own our island.
