School is for learning

School is not about passing, it is about learning. We go to school every Monday to Friday to learn new things and after months a periodical test to test if we have something left in our minds. If we learned but for this generation. Many things have changed. Many of us wanted to pass but not everyone wanted to learn. We want to achieve things in simple way ---no struggles.

I once had that mindset. After test, you'll not need it anymore and another lesson comes. In TLE 4th Quarter, many of us did not apply what we have learned in the past years. We reviewed our photoshop skills and most of us have the hard time doing it again. We also did the reporting, and again, I had the hard time talking in front.

I learned that I must overcome my weaknesses because I will always have the hard time everytime I will talk infront of people. And, never forget what you have learned. There are times that you will need it. Things come in unexpected way. Always be ready. This is not the end, but a start of my future

Use of a gadget

Before, the only use of a gadget is to communicate to a person from afar with limited number of characters. Now, we use it for surfing, searching and even for gaming. Gadgets become part of our lives. From the time you wake up and sleep. Are these gadgets have benefits to you? We live our modern life with technologies. And for this year Values Month Celebration the theme is "Mapanuring paggamit ng gadget: Tungo sa Makapagkalingang Ugnayan sa Pamilya at Kapwa". We must use it for building a good relationship to our family and friends. One of this to communicate to them and help each other. Be a good example and share goodness in your heart. There are now many ways to communicate, through messaging, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. They say, "No man is an island". We live for each other. We need each other. Bago pa man magsama ang mag-asawa sa isang bubong, at magkaroon ng anak, tinatanggap na nila ang tungkulin dito, na ibigay ang karapatang mabuhay. Nangangailangan sila ng tulong at suporta sa pamamagitan ng pagtuturo sa kanila ng kagandahang asal, tamang edukasyon at pagkilala sa Diyos. Why we read

"If you choose to give up of what you think you can't do, what else would human can do?" Few people choose to watch Kdramas, and using gadgets rather than reading books. One reason of this is that they don't understand clearly the thoughts given by the books but by action in movies made them more understandable. From the theme for this English Month Celebration, "Pagbasa:Susi sa magandang kinabukasan" suits to the saying 'Try and try until you succeed'. You will never learn by not trying, by not even working hard for it. It was made to encourage students to show their love for reading for it were the one to seek for information and to learn. We must not stop ourselves for trying to overcome ones challenges. We must keep on going. Just like on reading, we may not understand well but what are dictionaries for?
